February 2022 Search Point partnered with the Eastern Shore Migrant Ministry to assist them with supplies needed by the migrant workers. We supplied crockpots, towels, and other necessities for the migrant workers. Heading this ministry is Marissa Sanchez.

April 2023 – Present Search Point realize that there is no limit to what society need, that is why we support The American Red Cross by donating blood every two months to local patients and if there are no local patients then the Red Cross sends it to other areas within the state of Virginia. We encourage those who can to please support to the American Red Cross.

Eastern Shore Migrant Ministry Update Search Point will be partnering with a Marissa Sanchez and her Eastern Shore Ministry on to provide critical supplies to help her support migrants on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in March of 2020. The migrants come from Latin American countries for six weeks to plant or harvest a variety of food. Search Point supported the training of 70 graduates who received their certificates in ministry preparation in Yendi, Ghana. The student’s graduation was the culmination of a five year journey. Search Point partnered with the Women’s Ministry Union (WMU) of the Baptist General Association of Virginia to sponsor two volunteers who went to Yendi for ten days in August of 2019 to assist our brothers and sisters to experience the love of the Gospel in a tangible way.

Search Point partnered with the Baptist General Association of Virginia Women’s Mission Union by sending a two-person mission team to the Standing Rock Reservation situated on the border of North and South Dakota July 21-26, 2019. There are 8,500 residents. The team worked with others from the Virginia Baptist Community to feed the residents, conduct adult and children bible studies and deliver much-needed clothing.
